Big Barn Camping and Glamping in Wales a small tranquil and beautiful eco friendly campsite with 2 luxurious Glamping Domes, 1 Little Fox Barn Eco Camping Pod,  12 camping pitches along with 1  Premium camping pitch and 1 Superior  camping pitch, both in fields away from the main camping paddock. All pitches are individually cut out and well spaced apart and have there own picnic bench and fire pit.

Its the ideal pitch for a more secluded camping getaway and is located in the field next to the main camping paddock it  has the advantage of a wooden covered field shelter to sit under, so whatever the weather then you'll stay nice and dry, its great to use as a kitchen and is ideal for relaxing under in the evening's,  

The site is Located close to the township of Laugharne on the estuary of the river Taf, nestled in-between the town of Carmarthen and the Pembrokeshire boarder and is a gem for Camping and Glamping holidays in Wales. 

Now the best bit  -unlike other sites, there's no extra charges per head, or for awnings and gazebos. You have a picnic bench and fire pit on each pitch free of charge, so we wont add this all to your booking total unlike other sites and with a 

No music policy, whats not to love, its a great place to chill and relax, camping in Wales.

The campsite opened in May 2018 and has the advantage of being a small lovely quiet campsite, hosting many a returning camping trip from regular families and couples who enjoy the friendly environment and familiarity of knowing the trip will be quite and relaxing and close to plenty of fun activities  in the surrounding area. Also being situated on a farm, you’ll be able to see all the farm animals and see the baby lambs during lambing time, all of which you can read about in the farm blog. 

West Wales boasts a number of excellent Blue Flagg awarded beaches, the nearest beach is Pendine Sands a 7 mile stretch of beautiful sand and is only 10 minutes away by car, along with both the very popular picture postcard seaside town of Tenby and fantastic Barafundle bay. Not much further along the coast are a number of other lovely Blue flag beaches  including Amroth, Saundersfoot, Newgale the surfers paradise and Whitesands bay so if you love beaches you’ll have plenty to choose from.

Lower Cresswell is a Georgian farm set in 36 acres of beautiful pastures, and ancient woodland, with Herdwick sheep, Welsh and Saddleback pigs, Alpacas, Goats, and a range of Chickens and waterfowl.
